If I Die Young...

This is just something i would like to share... this song touches me as i would cry every time i listen to it thinking about what i've been through and the journey ahead of me as i once endured so much pain in my life. utterly the best country song so far

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a, bed of roses
Sink me in the river, at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song

Lord make me a rainbow, I'll shine down on my mother
She'll know I'm safe with you when she stands under my colors
Life ain't always what you think it ought to be, no
Ain't even grey, but she buries her baby

The sharp knife of a short life, well
I've had, just enough time

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a, bed of roses
Sink me in the river, at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song

The sharp knife of a short life, well
I've had, just enough time

And I'll be wearing white, when I come into your kingdom
I'm as green as the ring on my little, cold finger, I've
Never known the lovin' of a man
But it sure felt nice when he was holding my hand, there's a
Boy here in town who says he'll love me forever,
Who would have thought forever could be severed by
The sharp knife of a short life, well,
I've had, just enough time

So put on your best boys and I'll wear my pearls
What I never did is done

A penny for my thoughts, oh no, I'll sell them for a dollar
They're worth so much more after I'm a goner
And maybe then you'll hear the words I been singin'
Funny when you're dead how people start listenin'

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a, bed of roses
Sink me in the river, at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song

The ballad of a dove
Go with peace and love
Gather up your tears, keep 'em in your pocket
Save them for a time when you're really gonna need them, oh

The sharp knife of a short life, well
I've had, just enough time

So put on your best boys and I'll wear my pearls

Last Friday...

I noticed i only blog when i'm happy! This is not how it supposed to be! it's been two weeks since my last entry... :( btw, yesterday (Friday), I was so trilled when i hit a triple deal! Whoopie! weeeeee......3 more delegates to go...! to get my senior title in 1 month's time! Hope it happens soon! *fingers cross*. I was so so hungry the whole afternoon as i did not take my lunch due to the 'kancheongness' to close that deal! client also asked to call back during lunch time! but it was worth it! she sent three! :)

After work, went to Gurney Plaza with a colleague to meet up some old friends to catch a movie... 'Transformers Tiga'! I personally think the movie was 'ok' as I like the first installment better... The third installment is at least better than the second one with a proper storyline and not just mere actions. Also with the new casts, especially the VS model, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the only cast with a British accent... it is something different... I would say Rosie does make a really good first time actress... but not a good choice to succeed Megan Fox :( Sorry Rosie, but Megan is hotter... haha
The cinema was full that we ended up getting the seats in the third row nearest to the big screen..! This movie is very 'Gempak' in Malaysia... almost everyone queued up to watch the same movie -.-"

Early and Late Surprise

Woke up this morning and got a small parcel delivered to my doorstep! I thought to myself: 'Gee.. what is this? and who is it from? My sis kah?' Coz' she told me last week on my birthday that she posted something for me... Also, i did not order anything online (i E-shop a lot).
No sender's name, by air mail, and from Smelliesdirect.co.uk? must be a perfume! open and see first!
Taa da! a Harajuku Lovers' perfume!
Cute and retro! Love it so much!

FYI: The Sunshine Cuties is one of the limited collection inspired by gwen stefani's fascination with fashion hungry teens in japan! Top note is of fruity floral scent which is my favourite! also a bit of sensual... Lovin the bottle! The wrap around sunglasses is removable! :)

Thanks to my beloved sis for this belated birthday gift! Love ya'!!!

Money can't buy happiness?

*Pic credited to Mind Body Green

We all do not like to work but we have to because we can get more money to buy things that can make us happy! isn't that logical? Thus, money doesn't buy us happiness but it indirectly will! I am a person who spends a lot as shopping keeps my mind at ease... think: 'when i am sad, i shop! when i am happy, i shop!' yup, that's me! this is definitely not something to be proud of, it is a very very bad way of pleasuring myself... i'm not sure whether i put that in a correct way or not, haha! In a nutshell, i have to really control myself la! Any suggestion? whenever i see something i like, it is not that i didn't think through before buying, but i think too much until i thought to myself: 'that's it! stop thinking! just buy it!' I bet there are shopaholics out there who shares the same thought like mine!

Remember I once said that i will blog about my work from my previous entry? yup, i will blog about it now! For introduction, ABC company (random name) is one of the world's leading providers and promoters of global summits strategic conferences, professional training, in-Company training, business-to-business congresses, sports hospitality and on-line information. It's Asia Pacific regional office is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, while it has another branch in Penang with a sales team specially for the People's Republic of China. I was hired into the China team as a jr. sales exec and my job basically requires cold-calling with a minimum of 100 calls per day to the big companies (as in Fortune 500's) in China depending on the scope of the conferences, events, training, etc. being assigned. I went for a one-week training when i first joined, together with the other two newcomers and before we were put onto the sales floor, the GM of my company offered us a lucrative amount of incentive for whoever that nails the first deal! Well, at first it sounds really challenging and exciting, but after working for three weeks and kept getting a never-ending 'no' for every call made, i thought maybe this is not the right job for me. Anyhow, things changed when i managed to first close a deal from a company in Shanghai last week, to be honest, I was super 'kan cheong', stunned, felt like crying, over the moon, blah blah blah! It was mixed feelings! I never felt such a way for a very long time, this has proven that I can do the job, at least! Well, this is my story, i managed to get that incentive! Meanwhile, it made me 'seriously' realized that money doesn't come by easily, so closing that deal really gave me a few life lessons and it'll definitely be a day that will not be forgotten! :) Also, it was at the right time and the right month! June is the birthday month for my whole family, gonna bring them to 'jiak ho liao' (eat delicious food in Hokkien) next week on Father's Day! :)

In love with ‘Mademoiselle’!

I've always been loving Chanel for their classy, chic and elegant designs, especially the quilted bags! ‘Mademoiselle’ is named after the latest collection of handbags for Chanel. The brand ambassador is none other than Blake Lively! The 'Gossip Girl' star who is a perfect feature for this collection, i must say! She resembles every details for Chanel. Love the small bowling bag!
Small iguana skin bowling bag embellished with a "bijou" chain and a CHANEL pendant
(priced at SGD9840, which means RM24026.57! :D)
Love it so much but unfortunately it costs almost half of the value of my Viva car! haha

This is Absurd! a Smoking Ape??!!

I cannot not blog about this! I feel disgraced after seeing an article from the local newspaper about an orangutan (named Shirley) who is addicted to smoking (f**k the moron who introduced her to smoking!).Shirley was said to be heavily addicted to smoking in a Johor zoo. She even begged for the zoo visitors to give her a stick! There are no signs of warnings in the zoo preventing visitors from giving her cigarettes and the zoo keepers not even bother to prevent the visitors from handling the cigarettes to her. Cigarette stubs was said to be left around her cage! Poor animal! It is clear for humans to know that smoking can cause many harms to health especially lung cancer and other heart diseases, why on earth does 'this kind of people' can give such unwanted behavior to an animal? let along an orangutan? This is such a shame to the country!
